Biography

Born in 1966 in Moscow into a family of a renowned artist Emmanuil Lipkind.

Graduated with honors in Fine Art Teaching from the Moscow Art College after the memory of 1905 (1981–1985). Completed a five-year academic program in the Art Department at the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography (VGIK), specializing in Art Direction for animated films (1986–1991).

In 1991, Anna emigrated to Israel, where her education was officially recognized as equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree.

Completed a one-year program in the Fine Art Department at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Jerusalem (1992–1993). During her studies, Anna got the First Prize in the National New Immigrant Student Competition.

She married in 1993, a mother of 5 Children.

Throughout her career, Anna Khodorkovski has actively participated in approximately 80 solo and group exhibitions across Israel, Lithuania, Canada, South Korea, Moldova, Romania, Poland, Russia, Bulgaria, Serbia, Italy, Montenegro, and other countries. Her works are held in museums and private collections worldwide. Received awards for artistic achievements both in Israel and abroad. Anna has been an active member of the Israeli Professional Artists Association (IPAA) since 2014 and the Rishon LeZion Artists Association since 2023.

Art Teaching:  Instructor in Drawing in District Teachers’ House, Moscow (1985–1986); Lecturer in Drawing, Hadassah College, Jerusalem (2003–2004); Art Teacher for the 65+ Community, Tekoa, Israel (2013–2022); Invited Instructor for a Plein Air Workshop organized by the Lithuanian Jewish Community (2017); Anna taught extensively in community centers, and through private lessons, both face-to-face in Israel, and via online platforms abroad.

Designer Work Experience: Senior Graphic Designer at the Israeli Ministry of Public Security (2004–2021), and UX/UI Team Lead at the Israel Prison Service (2022–2024)
